Eco Values
Sustainability woven into every aspect of our resort
Communities thrive when natural spaces are protected, nurtured, and enjoyed. We want to create an experience that allows people to reconnect with the natural world around them, while building community between visitors and locals.
What Is an Eco Resort?
The term "eco-resort" isn't formally regulated, but for us it means we make every decision with the environment and our community in mind first - supporting local businesses whenever possible, and inviting guests to experience a more sustainable way of living that's genuinely enjoyable, not a sacrifice.

Wood-Fired Hot Tubs: A Sustainable Choice
Our wood-fired hot tubs aren't just about aesthetics and experience - they're an environmentally conscious choice. Unlike electric or gas-heated tubs, wood-fired heating uses renewable biomass energy from sustainably harvested local wood. The wood we use comes from sustainable forestry practices in New Brunswick, supporting local forest management while providing a carbon-neutral heating method. The act of building and tending your fire also creates a more mindful, connected experience with the natural elements.
Nature-Focused Design
Every aspect of Hope-Wellness was designed to harmonize with the surrounding environment:
Minimal Site Disruption
Our buildings were positioned to preserve existing trees and natural features, maintaining the forest ecosystem.
No Permanent Pavement
Recycled asphalt pavement has been used for our roadways, minimizing environmental impact while maintaining accessibility.
Natural Materials
We use locally sourced wood, stone, and natural materials that age beautifully and blend with the landscape.
Dark Sky Friendly
Outdoor lighting is minimized and shielded to preserve the night sky and reduce light pollution.
Our Ongoing Journey
Sustainability is an evolving practice. We continuously assess and improve our operations, seeking new ways to reduce our environmental footprint while enhancing your experience. When you stay with us, you're supporting a business committed to protecting the natural beauty that makes this place special. Together, we can enjoy nature's gifts while preserving them for future generations.
