  • The term eco-resort is not regulated, but for us - it means that we make all of our decisions thinking of the environment and our community first. It means supporting local whenever the option is available and urging our guests to experience a more sustainable way of living that is enjoyable and connected to the wild.

Here are some of the ways we are making an impact by reducing our environmental footprint:

    • Cleaning products made in-house with natural and locally-sourced ingredients

    • Solar energy to offset electrical use

    • Hybrid hot tubs - and firewood cut during selective forest management of our property

    • Composting & a recycling, reducing and re-using program across the resort to move away from single-use plastics

    • Serving only local food and beverages

    • Rain-water catch basin for our onsite organic herb & veggie gardens

    • A plant-a-tree initiative for every stay booked

    • All wood for cabins and resort structures milled locally and on-site

    • Furniture sourced from local builders and suppliers (as much as possible)

  • We have a few options to choose from! here’s the breakdown:

Suite 1: Single suite with a Hot Tub

Suite 2: Double suite with a Hot Tub

Suite 3: Single suite with a Hot Tub

Suite 4: Single suite with a Fire Pit

Suite 5: Single suite with a Fire Pit

Vagabond Villa: Repurposed RV with an outdoor tub and fire pit

  • Three of our cabins have a private hybrid hot tub for guests to enjoy. We know not everyone loves a hot tub, so you have the option to go tub-less! Those without tubs have their own private fire-pit. All cabins have a beautiful outdoor living space.

  • Our check-in and check-out timing is pretty standard: 3 pm check-in, and 11 am check-out. If you arrive at Hope-Wellness early, feel free to grab a bevy at our outdoor bar!

  • We ask all guests to pay a 50% deposit upon booking. We know life happens, and if you cancel your booking at least 30 days before your stay, your deposit will be credited to stay with us another time. If you cancel within 30 days of your stay (or * gasp * don’t show up) - the total booking price will be charged to your credit card.

    *all deposits are non-refundable.

  • We love kiddos. In fact, we’re mums to some of the coolest kids around. However, we’ve created a space for folks to get some much-needed adult-only time, and kids are not permitted at the resort. If you’re traveling (or vacationing) with your children, we’d love to suggest some amazing family-friendly spots in the area.

  • All stays are a 2-night minimum and can be booked online.

We offer 1-night stays on Wednesdays and Sundays which are subject to a single night cleaning fee and can be booked online.

  • Final payment are automatically processed up to 24 hours prior to arrival.

If you wish to use an eGift card or a different credit card to cover a remaining balance on an overnight stay, you must notify us at least 24 hours prior to arrival.

  • Nordic Lounge access is included in your overnight experience with no additional cost. Guests have access to the facilities after 3pm on date of arrival. If you wish to access the facilities after check out, this does come with an additional cost and must be booked in advance.

  • Want to bring your pup along for the stay? No problem! Make sure to book the cabin designated for furry friends (suites 3 or 4).

*note there’s an additional cleaning fee of $30 for this service.

We kindly request that dogs not be permitted to sleep or lay on the beds or couches, be kept on a leash and attended by their owner at all times. Dogs are allowed in the beer garden while on a leash but are not permitted to be within the pool or lounge areas.

We’re proud to be one of the only social Nordic spas in Atlantic Canada—a space where wellness meets connection, and relaxation doesn’t have to mean silence.

Whether you’re here for the full thermal cycle or just to hang out by the fire with friends, it’s all about slowing down and feeling good.

Not sure what to expect? We’ve put together some of our most frequently asked questions to help you feel prepared and excited for your visit

  • You do not have to be an overnight guest at the resort to experience Hope-Wellness. We offer full day OR half day passes for guests interested in enjoying our nordic spa space - which includes an outdoor bar, sauna, cold plunge, relaxation dome and year-round saltwater pool heated at 90°F.

  • This is NOT a silent spa atmosphere. We encourage socializing and connecting with all that surrounds us.

For those looking for a silent space to meditate and relax, check out our yoga dome. Also, be sure to sign up for our newsletters where we’ll announce our special ‘Whispering Wednesdays’ for those who like a quieter lounging experience.

If you’re looking to pack light we also offer rentals:

    Towel $5

  • To maintain a relaxing and fun environment for our guests, we offer a limited amount of nordic lounge passes per day. Please make sure to book in advance!

  • Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

To ensure a smooth experience for all of our guests and team members, please review our policy before booking:

Cancellations: We require 7 days notice to receive a refund for your spa booking.
Rescheduling: You may reschedule your appointment with at least 48 hours notice.
Change Limit: Bookings can be rescheduled up to two times without penalty. Additional changes may incur a fee or result in forfeiture.

  • We are open rain, shine, or snow—and each brings its own unique charm to the Nordic spa experience. If you’re considering adjusting your visit based on the weather, we recommend checking the forecast ahead of time, as our standard cancellation and rescheduling policy still applies.

We appreciate your understanding as we strive to create a balanced and respectful schedule for all of our guests.

  • Yes! We offer a great selection of cocktails, mocktails, local beer, and wine at our outdoor bar, along with a small bites menu perfect for light snacking. You’re welcome to bring your own food, but please note that outside alcohol is not permitted, as our Nordic Lounge is a licensed area.

  •  The thermal cycle is a rejuvenating experience inspired by traditional Nordic spa practices. It typically involves moving through phases of heat (like our wood-fired sauna), cold (our cold plunge), and rest (such as our all-season heated pool or cozy fire pits) to help boost circulation, ease muscle tension, and promote deep relaxation.

At Hope Wellness, the thermal cycle is completely optional—you can follow the full cycle or simply relax your own way. Whether you’re here to soak in the benefits of the Nordic spa tradition or just unwind by the fire or in our relaxation dome, the space is yours to enjoy at your own pace.

  • We’re open in all four seasons, offering unique experiences year-round—from steamy winter saunas to sunset summer soaks.

Our hours may vary slightly throughout the year, and we often extend hours during the summer months to make the most of the long, warm evenings.

For the most up-to-date schedule, we recommend visiting our Nordic Lounge page. If you’re looking for a specific time or date and don’t see it listed, feel free to reach out—we’re always happy to help if we can!
